Boschendal is one of the oldest, most iconic Wine Estates in South Africa.
Nestled in the picturesque valley of the Cape Winelands, with over 330 years of winemaking tradition, they carefully craft each of their award-winning wines for you to enjoy.
Tasting Notes
Pair this elegant Chardonnay with the aria "Deh, vieni, non tardar" from Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. The aria’s delicate, inviting melody and refined emotional expression complement the wine’s balanced roundness and citrus-tropical aromas (lemon zest and white apricots) creating a beautifully harmonious pairing.

Wine Makers Note
The Chardonnay grapes were whole-bunch pressed, and the juice underwent cold settling before natural fermentation in stainless steel. After partial fermentation, the juice was transferred to French oak barrels for 10 months of aging, with regular bâtonnage. The final blend is 70% oak-matured and 30% stainless steel fermented, both aged on primary lees.
